After the Adidas Arena, the second "Olympic" Colosseo installation took place at the Accor Arena in Paris, Bercy.
This was the second part of a project that started at the end of 2023 with a brand new seamless 360-degree center-hung LED video cube. At this stage, it was necessary to rebuild the cube in a different shape, suitable and approved for the 2024 Olympic Games, which will take place this summer in Paris.
In an extremely short time of 9 days, the cube changed its shape and size significantly by increasing the number of LED modules by 20%. Until the end of the 2024 Olympic Games, visitors to sporting events at the Accor Arena will be able to enjoy its large display surface with a pixel pitch of 4mm.
The “Olympic” cube is composed of 4 faces, each 12.72 meters wide and 3.60 meters high. The total size of the cube is 12.72 x 12.72 x 3.60 meters with an aspect ratio of 32:9. The cube has a sharp, 90-degree corners.
After the end of the Summer Olympics in Paris, the Cube will be restored to its original shape given to it by Colosseo in August 2023.
