About the Project
Nicaragua’s brand new, Dennis Martínez National Stadium (Estadio Nacional Dennis Martínez), located in the nation’s capital Managua, has become the first sports venue in Latin America that is equipped with the leading Colosseo technology for public access control and ticketing.
Named after the famous former Nicaraguan Major League Baseball player, the stadium has become the most modern venue in the country with capacity for over 15.000 seats and the first stadium in the country that fulfils Major League Baseball standards.
Colosseo also seamlessly integrated local third-party ticket selling channels, providing visitors with the freedom of multiple options for ticket purchasing.
The stadium with a total investment of 36 mil. USD was unveiled with the presence of the President of Nicaragua Mr. Daniel Ortega and will also be a major venue for the upcoming 11th Central American Games, taking place in December this year.
