Mohegan Sun Arena, consistently ranked among the top venues in the world, has implemented a wide scale of Colosseo technologies during the last big modernization. This supply includes mainly LED displays and accessories for basketball and various indoor sports.
The new dominant element of the auditorium becomes a seamless 360-degree LED ribbon. Describes the perimeter of the auditorium in total length of 205.44m. Its one million pixels with a 10mm pitch illuminates the arena using 16-bit color-processing LED chips with high refresh rates.
The COLOSSEO Courtside Tables combine advertising LED display surfaces with desks for the timekeeping staff to the integrated modular solution. It’s an advantageous and handy mobile solution, especially for basketball and other indoor sports. Uses LED displays with a pixel pitch of 6mm.
Mohegan Sun Arena also obtained two brand new large-scale LED displays installed under the roof on the opposite side of the arena. With the size of 9.6 x 3.6m, the pixel pitch of 3.91mm and their position under the roof on the opposite side of the arena, they become the next dominant element.
Colosseo also installed several supplemental LED displays in the arena, such as the Entrance LED Signs and Ticket Box Displays.
One of the busiest Arenas in the United States, located in Mohegan Sun casino in Uncasville, Connecticut, also obtained a serious added value in the form of the world-unique integrated software solution COLOSSEO Single Media Platform (ColosseoSMP), enabling efficient multimedia content management and powerful control of all multimedia presentation displays in the arena.
